Hi,  been out of BMX for a while as I wanted my last build to be special. I raced this bike (not actual frame) back in the 80s. It's taken me 12 years to get one, I've tried to build it as close to my actual one as possible. Only the seat, grips, tyres and pedals are different but as I couldn't remember what I had I thought I'd go big and decent as this bike deserves it.

So........

1982 Gen 3 GJS A frame

Tioga Max flo forks (I had these and NOT GJS)
JMC DY bars
Sugino 400 cranks
Hutch bear traps (brown bearings)
Oakley B2 grips
Original GJS seatclamp
Shotgun 2 armchair with KSM guts
Ukraine 7c rims
Sunshine hubs
Panaracer Knarler Knobby tyres
Dia Compe MX 1000
Dia Compe Tech 3 lever
Dia Compe dated 84 cable
Sharpe lever grip
Haro 1B plate with my old Haro race numbers on
Tuf Neck stem
Tange 125 headset with spacer
Izumi chain

...imagine if each of these bikes had even a casual build thread showing the chase for parts and the build as it developed. That would certainly help to build a busy forum.

All my bikes get their own thread, this months entry has one in the freestyle section.

Also, it would be great if you could post this and any other build info in the Trident thread that you first posted pics in? :daumenhoch:
