Use the word Burner and it all kicks off... Regarding the headset... the fact that on the last visit to Raleigh I left them a Tange 300 headset may be an indication in the right direction.. but we will see. The Team Aero Pro was originally marketed and sold with White Tuffs... Glad some of you can see the positives in this project and I am sure they will sell... To everyone else.. if you don't want one... don't buy one.. I can also tell you that Raleigh are working on a New School Race Bike that I think you will be rather impressed with... Alloy Frame / Chromoly Forks... Don't forget the Olympics are round the corner...

Correct me if i'm wrong though.....wasn't the original Aero Pro the top end race bike of it's day (for Raliegh) so if they stuck a new school headset and just fitted a rear brake......Bobs your unkle!! I like it though......but would be swayed towards the Gen1 re-issue next year

My Haro Pro-XL is a 91 and still feels sooo different to my 2005 'ONE 52'
Build a nice new frame, keep it Retro looking, at least then it would be a lot more desirable to want and to want to ride.........Might even get one meself then, Only coz i know it would be made in Taiwan!!!

I asked about aniversary aero pro at the local raleigh dealers a few weeks ago. He confirmed that raleigh are bringing them out, should be around easter next year. Everything that has been mentioned here was confirmed by the shop owner except he said the frame would be alloy and there would be 1000 made. we'll wait and see i guess. I've put my name down for one. It probably wont get ridden tho, just sit next to my aero pro race.
