So Russ, How do you think us Southern boys would have got on up there today?

the standard was pretty good, everybody is improving in leaps, the gaps are definately closing between the oldschoolers, some good riding and great effort at braddy gave the sandbagger a run for his mony i reckon ::) :LolLolLolLol:

Yesterday was a belter of a day...

Weather was superb... track is not the greatest but it rode well and the racing was done in great spirit and we all had a superb day.

14 riders was an AWESOME turn out in the North...  8)  in the previous rounds of the Winter Series we had 4 of us at Lytham, 6 of us at Preston (but they refused to put on an Old School Gate) and 6 of us rode at Coppull... So 14 was great.  8) though one rider shouldn't be riding Old School... he's doing himself a diservice and the Old School as well.

Was great to meet the lads from here who I hadn't met before.. a great bunch... 94performer.. smithy.. priv.. hunterdubber... motomag... r al... etc..

And great to meet up again with Mr.Donor... the comedy genius that is.. Ron Burgundy... Madd Dogg Russ.. Bof... and my buddy..  :knuppel2:  ;) dibbly..

And the Preston boys... Phil.. Cotty and Russell...

Lookin forward to Hartlepool...  8)

I was happy with my 5th in the 'A' final... took a bit of a tumble while in 2nd chasing Cotty in moto1 and it knocked my confidence a bit, so was riding a little hesitant after that, but the level of riding was good so a 5th was cool for me..

Will upload my pics when I get home from work..

See you all at Hartlepool.... I'm looking for a podium finish... so watch out guys..  :2funny:

hartlepool is one track that really opens up oppertunities for all abilities throughout each race as its so long and wide n full of stuff that every rider has an oppertunity to find a gap, fitness n stamina creates the results over technique at our level on this track i reckon (thats my excuse for doing crap up there :LolLolLolLol:), as long as its a true OS line up the racing will be epic :daumenhoch:

thanks for great days racing guys.

Pity i've been labelled the ringer.

Was quality to race a 20" again, you guys have more skills than anyone gives you credit for, its tricky as hell bombing around and an old school ride.

Some quality racing, will i be able to race at Hpool, or should I stick to new school?

My missus hates me wearing the open face though, so if I race Hpool, itll be new school full face time.

Sorry i couldnt hang around, had to start me night shift at 6, 12 hrs, wicked. Reckon I'll sleep 2moz.

Thanks again.
Sutty

Race oldschool if you want Sutty, no worries. It's the last race of the Oldschool Winter Series anyway, you can alway go back to the cruiser class in the summer...   and Full Face all the way mate :daumenhoch:

Don't forget your goggles and keep away from the cones ;D

A few hundred snaps of the whole day are on here.  Some good OS ones as well.  Even ones where both wheels are off the ground at the same time!!
