stripping chrome

mmm sure you need the rest of the kit for these solutions to work though :-\ pretty sure you need to de electroplate using the same charge that was used to electroplate  ??? got a dremel terry you are welcome to borrow  ???

Chrome will strip with 12v battery and caustic soda solution, as the sale above states it wont affect the nickel plate that is underneath.

just out of curiosity,are these chromers in brum and overall are they usually pretty good and this has just been a shite day for them?

It was ACF Howell in Walsall.  A lot of the stuff i had done was spot on.  You just gotta spend the time talking to the right guy about that you want done .. and explain v e r y    s l o w e l y
I had some aerospeeds done by them .. made over sure they didnt fook them up and when i got them they had underpolised them ... think he was scared when i told him how much they were worth.  the chrome job aint the best but he said he was scared to polish them too much  ???
