Priming chrome for painting
ED209:
whats the best thing to do to chrome before you paint over it?
ACCIIEEEEED?
sid1972:
you could get it 'aqua blasted' - some powder coaters do it.
or its rough paper and elbow grease.. ;)
firebird4130:
had mine blasted at the powder coaters, couldn't work out after whether it'd been taken back to the original steel or if the chrome had just been kind of pitted, but it did the job :daumenhoch:
sid1972:
::) it just pits the chrome - only way to remove chrome is to reverse the chroming process. ;)
