Finished my First Restoration - 90's Ammaco Freestyler

(1/4) > >>

m5 paul:
Finally I finished my first ever restoration. It wes a bit of shed but it was cheap from ebay. It is an early 90s Ammaco Freestyler.

Started off as this:

And after a bit of work I have ended up with this. I haven't gone mad on expensive parts as it has been a learning exercise on how to do things correctly and more importantly enjoy the process of which I have. I was going to sell it but I think I will have problems parting with my first born  .

I think it turned out nice. Got two other frames to build up now so the process will soon start again for me.

What do you guys think. All opinions taken on board ;) .

Transformation and a nice clean build too  :4_17_5:

Did you only keep the frame and forks though
and replace everything else for new, rather  than restore ?

Don't get me wrong it's improved it , not spoilt it  :daumenhoch:

Not seen a 90's Ammaco before ,, I'd still love to do an 82 Ammaco sport bmx , my first BMX  :smitten:

Munnyella:
Tidy looking bike that, and really, it's about the pleasure you get from it, not how much it costs.

Just get it ridden!!!

Well done!
