F&F and seatpost are the only original items. The brakes were shot and i didn't like the bars and i wanted to put skyways on. The pedals were missing bearings when I stripped them so binned them and the crank will be used on another bike at some point.
I wanted something that looked similar to what I had back in the eighties and more importantly I had a very clear idea of what i wanted it to look like from the outset.
Glad you guys like it, really pleased with it, I think I will be stripping the original wire wheels and getting them finished in black with silver alloy nipples and black spokes/hubs for the next bike.
