I hope the Renthal bars are the  Superstrongs and not Superlites ,, I snapped a pair bunny hopping when I was 13  and less than 8 stone  :-\

Coppull nights back on  :)

I'm not worried as the wheels will probably snap first  ;D  ;D :LolLolLolLol:
what are you doing up at this ungodly hour joff mate  :daumenhoch:

actually come to think of it what i'm I.....we love it

i should have really tried the aluminium powerlite bars on just to feel the weight but they are being posted tomorrow and packed up  :(

yeh this is the bike i'm going to fetch down coppull ...

I had just got back from one of our Monday night meets at Carl's !! ..........  Fook me can we chat  :-[  :D

We were chatting about Coppull , reckon this monday could be the start , weather pending of course  ::)

Looking forward to seeing you and the Ripper down there  :daumenhoch:

yep i'm going and i'm taking the "weapon" with me  ;D  :D

thats amazing marty ::), yes i will attend to that on my arrival home sir  :coolsmiley:

It would be really sketchy to ride with the bars like they are and it's a Ripper - it deserves to look right   ;).

I'm having a bad week with the old brain, but I'm sure I've seen someone (BMX Shop) selling Comp's in 1 3/8  ???

Or are the non prescription drugs I consumed in the 90's finally doing there damage  >:D
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

Nice build but if its operation lightweight you need to rethink that plate! or at least loose the blue surround  ;)

Looking very good................MKS's  :smitten:

Not sure about your footwear for riding and if you lost the nail varnish off your toes that would help cut down the weight >:D

Also....fantastic looking dogs  :daumenhoch: bet they get down some food in a week

LOL just about to ask the same question  :LolLolLolLol:

Does look light now Glen  8)  Get her on the scales  :D

Not much you can lose now though  :-\

Lighter seatclamp ? Hare lever ? 890 caliper drilled out ?

Maybe an addicks chainwheel or a thin shimano chainwheel and 3/32 chain ;)

Maybe drop the chainwheel size and freewheel size too  >:D

But we're scratching there - it loooks pretty bloody light to me !!!!  ;D

That is a thing of beauty, it almost exactly as i had mine BITD, i had the smaller Renthal bars and silver suginos but apart from that it could be a double, LOVE IT  :smitten:

Thanks a lot yeh you never know how its going to turn out till you do it , i'll have to find some scales and weigh it tomorrow other half hasn't got any in house  :LolLolLolLol:, what would make the main difference weight wise now would be the forks i'd  as the lgs are bleedin heavy but unless it was some wicked race forks i'll compromise there , also you can get the renthal superlite bars which use a lot thinner aluminium tube and are really light but hunterdubber said he snapped some when he was about 13  :shocked:so i'll stick with the superstrongs, thanks for the input and comments  and i might do a few of the tweaks now you've mentioned over the period .....now what next  ;D :daumenhoch:

Tange Mitylite's would make a huge weight differencebut not really that rideable although Vinoah did ride for a long time with a pair one of his old bikes  :daumenhoch:
