Taiwan hutch pro racers had a serial number on the dropout too, your thinking of a pro raider.

JAPANESE MADE: Japanese frames look pretty much the same as the last USA version, but the serial numbers vary in length and include a symbol that looks like a baseball.
TAIWANESE MADE: Taiwan frames have the serial on the BB.

Johans info is a bit old and out of date. More of a rough guide than factual bible.

I liked it before too :LolLolLolLol: Kept it for 5 years. I build slowly though.
Looks nice fella, cant go wrong with a hutch and the other bits suit it. As long as you're happy and enjoy it then you're on a winner.

I remember seeing a thread about NOS frames that were two tone and had been in the distributors warehouse in France that was hit by a fire, I think they were purple.

Twesnik would you not post up your bike on your own thread and a mod could maybe tidy this thread up.

BTW Nice bike Pooch

Adam goff is taking the Hutch bars to be chromed for me. Still don't know if I'll put em on as I like what I have on it.. Build as you like and not always as factory said it should be.. We always swapped bits as kids. Love your Hutch by the way!! :smitten:
