Yeah, another tweak to get a bit more speed and stability on the forum. Notice how quick the forum home page loads now? You can use 'View the most recent posts on the forum' instead.

Gotta say I miss the names on a thread at the top takes away the personal touch and makes the threads look bare.
Just noticed the bit missing at the bottom and miss that as well.

They are all nice to have, but as the forum just keeps bigger and bigger we need to make changes now and again to keep it running smoothly. It's that or shell out ££££ for upgrading the server and the site has always been proud not to rely on adverts etc.

I get what yer saying just the list at the bottom was the first thing I look at to see what's new.
Couldn't we all pay another tenner or sonething to get a better server?
If it keeps growing then does that mean other features will be being taken away to free up more space?

I'd noticed it gone too , but just susssed the " most recent topics " link ,, so thats cool  :daumenhoch:

Added bonus you see what people have replied with aswell

one downside ,are you see the mundane word association replies  :crazy2:

not all change is good and for my money... the home page loading a little slower is the price to pay for having the 'recent posts' back... it was the first place I checked too...  :(

Threads look proper bare now specially if your having a banter with mates it was like they are in the room with ya having a natter now its just proper empty.
The recent topic list needs put back in my opinion...please.

The names at the top of the page will have to stay off until I work out why the page doesn't wrap when lots of people re viewing a board
