I got this properly finished this week and bobbed up to Yeadon bmx track yesterday afternoon to try and get some decent piccy's.
So here it is, a 1984 Raleigh Aero Pro Burner.
Bars, seat post and crank were re-chromed.
Chainring, levers, rims were re - annodized
The frame is survivor chrome.
The rest of the bits are nos

RALEIGH AERO PRO BURNER
AP F/F,bars
Grips - Tange
Headset - Tange 300
Stem - Suntour
Seat Clamp - Suntour
BB - Tange
Crank, ring, guard, bolts - Sugino
Brakes - dia compe, tech 3 on 900's
Seatpost - Koisumi
Rims - Araya Aero
Hubs - Suntour SFSB
Chain - Izumi
Seat & Tires are re- issue

I wouldn't dare Carl on those freshly annode rims but after starting racing on an ap last season i have to say in comparison to the robinson pro and the haro pro series........believe or not the aero pro feels a lot better.

In fact that is probably the nicest bike I have seen on here. I remember these in Halfords. Always wanted one but got a TA instead.

Only thing that spoiled the AP for me was when some of the Raleigh freestyle team put some of those $hity GT Performer forks on them.
Those guys must have been tripping or something.

Was only joking about the performer forks too, pete saw through my ploy.
They did use bottema, not that GT tat.

And thanks Carl. My gardens not as big as johns though and I can't get them all in my car.
That's partly why I try to get the best pics I can when I go out with crappy 5 year old tin pot camera.
