now that winter is coming albeit a little late this year 8)
can any of you radsters offer some good advise on storing your bikes in the garage or shed. stopping damp and corrosion getting to all those chrome parts. i worry a little about my bikes getting rusty. but i thought it would be the perfect time to write this thread ready for the winter months. cheers stu :daumenhoch:

strip them down and hide them in pieces all over the house from the missus!!!!!!!

My bikes are inside the house but if this helps, I always use silica gel containers from DIY stores to absorb the moisture in my garage and use the packet versions inside my old Triumph Herald this time of year. I also spray WD on to a cloth and wipe that over the shiny chrome bits. :daumenhoch:

Bikes in the shed or garage , what is this crazy talk ?
Surely all bmx treasure should be kept indoors , we have a two bedroom house and only one bed , my wife suggested that my bikes should not really be filling up / taking over the spare room and that it may be an idea to move them to the shed and put a bed back into the bedroom .
After I had pointed out to her that losing only one room to bmx was a victory in her favour as there is plenty of other rooms that could house even more bmx goodies , she soon saw my point of view !
