I had a very generous offer to get it painted white - this sounded great but a few money issues have forced my hand and I am now going to restore it myself..  Today I got some Wet n Dry but my buggery-wanking Sainsburys had sold out of Oven Pride.

Obviously I will eventually close down this thread with some final money-shots of the stem..
