It's got a hole in the side of the inside of the tube i can feel
I think that the thing is that is has welded all along the tube and not just a bit at the top - this is why it's taking it's time
it's getting more out each time i look at it
this is a build that i can work on as i still haven't got all the parts and the mags need doing - so i just work on one of the others while this is doing
thanks for the offer but it will come out in the end
i'm gonna need a good welded - seat tube has been cut at some point in the past and just need a new bit in it's place or weling adding to it to close up the parts ? any one ? a name ?

this is my skyway frame having the rust and muck honed out
i was struggling to get a seat post in............. the exact opposite to the trouble your having
i can also make wheel spacers brake parts crank washers etc
and cylinder heads are a speciality :LolLolLolLol:

i can weld but i only have a basic mig welder
this seat mast of yours needs tig welding ideally
a very good friend of mine does any welding i need
he can weld steel, stainless steel cast iron bronze, copper ,brass and aluminium :daumenhoch:
