I'm an idiot, removing a freewheel?...
lk_97:
Well, I accidentally put my freewheel on for lhd, which would be ok, but my cranks are normal rhd ones, so unless there is a way to make my cranks lhd, I need to get my freewheel off, is there a tool for it?
Thanks

that kinda doesnt make sense. LHD hubs and freewheels are different from RHD. they have Left hand threads, they aint just put on the other way.
If you mean you put your freewheel on upside down, then it will "freewheel" tight, and "pedal" off. So you should just be able to turn the teeth to take it off. (if its tight, then put it on the bike and pedal it. It'll soon come off).
Im not sure what else you could mean?

Flip flop style hub with LHD/RHD threads?

That'd mean you'd have a LHD hub and a LHD freewheel, not that it was fitted the wrong way. Which is fine but you will need to turn the cranks round.
I ran RHD cranks (fitted backwards) on a LHD hub for years (cos there werent LHD cranks). I had to swap the pedal cages round on the pedal spindles but other than that its no different (its a myth that the pedals come undone if the cranks are on backwards!)

I screwed it on, and I did it so that it moves if you turn it clock wise and the freewheel is on the left then it moves, but it doesn't move if you turn it clockwise and it's on the right...
