I'm an idiot, removing a freewheel?...

If it engages clockwise when it's on the right, then that's right for RHD :)

Is that just cos its on all the way? its locked on? Cos thats correct.

once tight, a RHD setup will "freewheel" anticlockwise and it wont move clockwise cos thats how it pedals.
A LHD setup will "freewheel" clockwise.
