Well make it a long day and spead it over to the 1st

can't get too pissed as i have to ride back home after the train - it's in the dark and up and down hills

truly wasn't on the cards with a pregnant wife / my birthday and her coming back the night before from L.A. for a week = not easy to keep happy

I did think i was going to have to miss my 4th year of rides

- but talked it out without throwing a hissy fit ~ me that was

It was raining bike parts on the last ride!!! Don't mind if it does that again,I picked up a NOS Redline crank bolt on that day at about 3 0-clock!!!! Did think at the time,theres some knob here with a bolt miising

Adam's crank bolt is probably still somewhere on oxford street

I was following him when I heard a 'tinkly' sound - at first I thought he'd run over some glass but then further down the road the crank-falling-off episode happened

word of advice - anyone riding anywhere near him after his 2 pint of shandy limit be warned and keep your distance
he will swerve violently without notice and if you're not careful you too could end up in the gutter/road/traffic barrier with him
