Ken's bike shop in Margate, still there to this day and still owned and run by the same guy, currently has a Patterson Jr in the window (but it's not for sale) or if I was lucky a trip up to Dartford for OT Cycles.  :)

Edwardes, Youngs or Alpine sports / Alpine Action were my favorite hang-outs,

you would have found me in one of those pretty much every saturday spending my pocket money :daumenhoch:

Where was Youngs ?

I used Edwards, Alpine Action, Waldens, the shop at rOm, Mud Machine & a shop I can't remember the name of in Pollards Hill, but this opened quite late in 84/85.

Hot Wheels and Strongs in Bournemouth and Peter Williams in Southampton.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

K.D. Racing or M.K. Cycles  (Bolton BMX Centre)  both locally ,,BMX specific shops  8)

Hey C!  I remember them as Bikers (got my Cycle Pro Macho a few days after they opened :D) and Bolton BMX (got my ET from there).  What ever happened to 'Bikers' and Keith and Dennis (K.D Racing)?  Actually, thinking back, they reminded me a little of Chaz and Dave!!   ;D  They had another shop in Chorley I believe.   Eee the memories.  Actually, I have adopted their way of thinking and I allow the kids to come in to my shop to fix their rides.  Well, the basic stuff anyway.  They never have any money, so I let them do the jobs themselves, with a bit of supervision!   Just as long as they don't take the George!!

Yeah we all knew it as Bikers eh?  ;)  :smitten: just named it as K.D as thats what ey advertised as in the later BMX Action bikes

They did have a shop in Chorley for a short while not sure if Bof did a stint ober there

They now run a PC repair shop across the road from Bolton Asda  :)

When I see "The Hairy bikers" on telly I think of Dennis  :LolLolLolLol:

It's good you let the local lads in  :daumenhoch:,,, they'll be having you put BMX DVD's on next  :daumenhoch:

if it leads to more business ,,that's a good thing   8)

Wow, you're kidding!!!  Great to see that they are still 'in business'.  They must have thought PC repair was the next big thing!!!   ::)
