headset bearing cup

just been trying to fit the lower headset cup and it aint having none of it,its an odyssey dynatron and have to say its possibly the worst designed headset ive seen any ideas on how to get it in....my first thought is to just shot it in the bin and get a beartrap 2

If you have access to a wood vice with a block of hard wood at either end to protect the cups, use that to get even pressure on the cup's :daumenhoch:
Or get a piece of threaded bar with two flat pieces of metal( one either side of each cup) then tighten up the nut's evenly..........hope this is of help to ya ;)

on a serious note..........pressing them in is the best way :daumenhoch:

Has the frame been repainted/powdered or rechromed? It's not a mini frame is it? Some had smaller dia tubes, like roadbikes.

unfortuneatly ive got neither ..have been on the phone trying to suss it out its basically a very weird design ... round 2 tomorrow :knuppel2:
