I've just started usign these Oddy blocks as I was sick of the SQUEEEEEEEEL of clear sticky pads.

listen to very loud music until there's a ringing in your ears. then you wont notice the brake squeal. ;D i use dia compe green pads on the rear and grey one's on the front and they both squeal like a pig, i like it like that. you could try and toe them in to see if that stops it.

I recently had a very similar issue with my Salt+ Geo brake with clear pads, the squealing was deafening. Toeing the pads helped although the brake is not totally silent, I am living with it for the moment. I do have some Kool Stop pads in the garage as a back-up plan.
