Very cool. That takes me back. When mountain bikes had really cool names and almost made me want them :LolLolLolLol:
I just remember them doing one in red and one in blue, and I loved the little paw prints down the rear triangle.

Yeah, I love the stamped paw print too. The frame and forks have some nice details like the star bottle cage bosses and the chunky canty mounts on the forks. Nice lugs too.
Mikku:
Bought and fitted an Odyssey Bluebird chain to go with the new Odyssey sprocket that I recently picked up for my Sunday. The bike's now running sweet! :slayer:
Midschoolfool:
Well I bought some parts for the feather. Not sure if the sprocket set is compatible with the rear freehub and if not I am going to have to consider buying another wheel (long story.... The shimano tool I need to remove the hub on the HED wheel no longer exists) but yeah, hoping these fit.
The shifter and rear mech will work obs, it's the splines in the sprocket I am concerned about.
Midschoolfool:
BTW. If any one has this unicorn of a tool I will happily pay to loan it.
It is a early to mid 90s, short lived Dura Ace removal tool. Shortly after the splines changed to all the same/one smaller one (mine are all the same) and they changed the tool to a M15 allen wrench. Sadly mine is one of those ^ and yeah...
Midschoolfool:
I was correct. The cog does not fit. However, I am going to file the gears so it does. Hard to explain. Any way, I remembered last time I fitted gears I kinda broke one of the jockey wheels. In my defence it was crappy flimsy plastic, but yeah. So I got a pair of these.
