Mikku:
I was desperate to buy something BMX over the Christmas period but failed miserably! :2funny:

I did, however, switch over the wheels between my Crupi and Quamen race rigs. Only the wheels though, not the tyres, so it felt like fixing four punctures! Then there was all the pita v-brake adjusting that goes with it. Got there in the end though. :daumenhoch:

Mikku:
After my failure to buy anything over Christmas, bah humbug, I have just redeemed myself with some New Year purchases. Yesterday a load of late mid-school/early new school parts were posted for sale on one of the Japanese websites I frequent - decent stuff including from Odyssey, Primo, Shadow and Snafu. Mostly NOS and reasonably priced too. I spotted them by chance during my lunchbreak, by which time quite a few bargains had been snapped up. I couldn't do much else about it at work or, for annoying technical reasons, when I got home either. However, I have just been able to snag a Shadow railed seat, Shadow railed seat post and Primo seat post clamp. All NOS and hopefully going to find homes on either my Sunday park rig or Quamen race rig, since they're similar eras (2007 and 2009 respectively) and I've been thinking about changing a few things out on both. Fingers crossed everything arrives safe and sound by the weekend. :daumenhoch:

Midschoolfool:
I am just trying to get through this bitter winter without freezing and or being in the fookin poor house. That said there is nothing else I need now..

Those jockey wheels are insane btw. No sideward play and they spin like demons. Mad.

Mikku:
Don't talk to me about freezing houses - I live in an old wooden one with no form of central heating! Chilblains are now an annual occurrence in this household!! Thumbs down

Back to the warmth of BMX, my NOS parts arrived safely and are now fitted to the Sunday and Quamen. The Shadow seat is date-coded 2004 and although described as "slim" is more mid by modern standards. Looks great though, as does the Shadow post. They're both on the Sunday, which means that the pivotal post and Shadow seat that were on there are now on the Quamen, along with the Primo clamp, so job's a good 'un! The next step is some bar-swapping but first I need/want some bigger bars for the Sunday, preferably with a 9.25" rise. :daumenhoch:

HUTCHMAN:
may be cold... but that is one hell of a house!!!!!!!....
