preferred choice of rim tape
kalex:
i would just like to know what is the preferred choice of rim tape to use to protect the inner tube from the nipple/spoke end's. or do most not bother.
Betty:
Insulation tape :daumenhoch:
Munnyella:
I make my own from knackered inner tubes, cut `em down, glue the ends, cut a valve hole.
I'm not a tree hugger, its about the only recycling I do!!

bobbbbsy:
i use them 1 pound rubber liners
kalex:
all my spare tubes are all decent so i'll leave them.
i was thinking of duct tape but that'll leave to much gunk on the rim if i ever have to get to the spokes. plus i'd have had to cut the width down.
insulation tape sounds good or the rubber inners
cheers for the idea's
