will a proper crank puller tool not fit ?   they have 14 / 15mm  double ended socket and also a thread in puller for the arms :daumenhoch:

As the above says, get a crank puller because you are likely going to need it to get the 400 arm off the tapered spindle anyway! Or you'll end up getting a hammer out, which may have been acceptable in the 80's but not on those cranks now :2funny:
