I know with been unable to get in certain pubs Simon ended up having to play it a little off the cough so to speak but everything worked out fine and the ride was a great success.

The ride did work out good and I put that down to the spirit of the riders!  I would definitely get to the Oak earlier and make sure we got on the canal. Jane and me did the canal from Armley to Horsforth and back to town then to Wortley in 2 hours on a wet Monday morning so it should easily be done on a Saturday afternoon.

Please can you put me down as Diesel +4

I'm driving pickle - half hour detour for me or we could meet somewhere?
you'll need to be able to pack your bike up quite small though as I don't have a hatchback any more and also don't want to knacker my interior
