Locking headset with a gyro 2. 1986 Haro

Thanks londonhellboy.what make is the locking nut just want a cheap one for a rider.  You may be able to help with another question :)

I ordered a sst upper cable but it doesn't fit! It has copy Haro kneesaver bars and dia compe bulldog lever no adjuster. The cable is too short in length and the short bit of cable is too long? As is over 2inch sticking out. What length is your upper cable?

Odyssey were clever with their marketing by making the adjusters different on each of their Gen1, Gen2 and SST Gyro sets.

I used the original Odyssey Gen2 cable with a Tech 77 lever. It was a tight fit as you can see. It's like they scrimped on the amount of cable used.





When I built my Dp with a Gyro, I used a generic 'long' upper Gyro cable. I think it was an Eastern, not sure now. It was considerably longer though. I also used a Tech 5 lever which was an awkward convert as I had fit a differeent lever adjuster.
