Parcel2go Nightmare insanely long story contained:(
Mdbh:
Always pay insurance!! It doesn't matter which service you use there all the same! Would love a key to that warehouse tho where all the lost and found go!

--- Quote from: dordymush on March 13, 2013, 10:49 PM ---i sold daz orgasmdoner a frame and was sending it with parcel2go.
i took the parcel to one of there shop drop off points so i know it was there safe.
after nearly a week of daz not getting the frame.i went back to the shop to find it still sat there.
the bastards took the money and never collected it from there own depot.
never again i tell ya.
it was a couple of pound more with royal mail but at least it got there.

coz i was dealing with dordy, the delay was not an issue at all (frustrating as fook for him :LolLolLolLol:) but if it was two unknowns dealing it could have caused a shit storm. Shame royal mail has not got a decent rival to shake things up a bit, these couriers are just shooting themselves in the foot with shoddy service, when they could be offering a reliable alternative n raking it in
efekz:
This sounds like a nightmare! hope you get it sorted. As it's been said...always insure. parcel2go insurance rates are a joke! I use parcelmonkey all the time for UK and International and I've had no problems whatsoever. Their insurance prices are alot more reasonable too. ;)
MartyC:
as moose says, email giving them 14 days to resolve the matter and then go straight to small claims court. useless bunch of tossers!
Moose:
I would come from the stance that you 'employed' Parcel2go as the 'specialist' in this and therefore as the 'specialist', they knew that they were 'contracted' to pick-up and deliver two parcels, so when changing the (subcontracted) courier, they should have ensured that the 'contract' was fulfilled?
Effectively, you are the 'dumb' (not literally) consumer and that's why you are paying them - for their 'expertise'.
