That Swan Guy:
Had one come in a package. Plenty strong enough. I didn't like it sat in the forks as the taper where it goes from
thin to thick shows a gap below the stem head and above the headset. Didn't do my OCD any good at all :LolLolLolLol:

Gt made a piston style stem with a 1" quill adapter with it, iirc mario in hk was selling one last year

mine was tight even with the 1 1/8 stem bolts only just in.  . rubber mallet'd it in .was going nowhere even without tightening while off the bike. piston stem on a 93.  sold the bike with it!

I have been looking about at a few of these and it appears that they are all alloy posts. I have never had an alloy complete stem before though.

I'm now wondering if I should just stick with OS stem  :crazy2:
