Just found a Sugino 400 crankset attatched to a very nice frame going really cheap

The seller doesnt do paypal and has suggested cash which is awkward as its a sleepy backwater overseas. $:-\$

What do you lot do in this sort of situation, do you have a monetary limit you are willing to take a risk with, send a cheque, etc or do you just walk away $:-\$

Clint, offer her an instant bank transfer or pay by credit card. You are insured this way and she gets the money pretty much instantly

Still risky. No insurance with bank transfer.

Suggest that they set up a PP account.

Something about the image seemed familiar and i just found another frame she has on french ebay with the same background and she accepts paypal

Hoping its just got a bit lost in translation as she doesnt speak English and my French is rusty
