I would ask him where the serial number is located and what is it, why has he with held the full serial from the listing  :idiot2: as if it is a genuine gen one then there would be no reason to with hold the serial number.

can't help being suspicious

an anniversary frame would be TT*****, you can also identify them by looking inside the BB (although would need a better pic)
you could always offer to pay in cash and collect (and make sure you have backup  :LolLolLolLol:)

Serial number is on the same side as the coaster brake anchor if I remember right  :daumenhoch:

Cheers all, it's making my arse twitch somewhat as it ticks the boxes on my wish list, but I'm not prepared to get shafted over best part of a grand........ I can wait ;)
