Loopy Ripper build now progressing with even more Pic's

I knew I would have one some day soon  :LolLolLolLol:

Can anyone advise me on how to clean or refinish the frame back to the original standard,  I remember these looked to have a clean and lightly grained finish albeit  unpolished finish  ?.

Fortunately I have some parts to assemble this Ripper, just a quick picture on the bench

Sorry I can't help on how to get a grain finish but the frame looks great as it is  :daumenhoch:

Yeah it looks good as it is, not keen on the decals...... They look too dark to me

1000 or 1200 wet and dry

use water and fairy liquid

carefully run the paper up and down in the direction you want the brushed finish

do a test first on a bit, under the BB or something

is it bare metal now..? or lacquered ?
