Coventional V's Half Link

IME straight links are better for the reasons MM stated above.
Having said that, I LOVE having a few half links around for adjusting chain length easily.

Oddy bluebird chain has a half link allowing for finer adjustment if that's the issue?

And I got no stretching on the full half I had, the fooker just went one day.
