How to strip black MX 1000's ( update now with pics )

I've had em sat in nitromors for a few days and its not touched it !
Are they anodised black ? Is it an oven pride job ?

x2 or nail varnish remover and a cotton wool pad (takes a bit longer tho and a bit more elbow grease needed). :daumenhoch:

About 5 mins in oven pride should do the trick, but keep checking regularly. Don't leave them in for any longer than necessary. I usually remove after a minute or so, run the parts under a tap & wipe off to remove the gloopy stuff, then re-submerge and repeat. 5 mins should be more than enough. Polish up with autosol, and behold - a mint looking caliper "wantit"
