Powder coating removal advice please

Diesel1:
You could also try a 'burn off oven'.  Some powder coaters have them.

Is it a Mountain bike frame? I have spoken with SBD before and some of the MB frames have a stone chip proof coating and Dan has even had problems stripping them.

kev-s:
ive had problems using synstrip on a powdered frame, the powder job was done in the mid 90's so was very thick and ive been told its different to the powder used today

best bet is to get it sand blasted/shot blasted by your local powder coater and generally costs less then a 5lt tub of synstrip :daumenhoch:

Taipan:
Its a generic bmx frame but it is early 90's so could have the bomb proof powdercoat mentioned above  :(

I use this stuff. Works a treat on powder coating, paint and superchrome. If you do use it on superchrome it don't affect the chrome underneath.👍👍👍
