Actually used an old woodwork surform. Takes off nice mini shavings and doesn't get the Ali too hot like a sander can  :daumenhoch:

Doesnt look a great deal different today but i have removed quite a bit of material. Nearly there  :)

skills mate, looks well good. how does the stem get fitted into the body on quill stems?? press fit??
