My nos blue Z's had a similar effect.  Maybe the fading wasn't quite so bad, but a good wd40 soaking and they look great on the bike.

so how much of WD40 do you need,then what ya do with it after use,ive yellow ones aswell that might need it ...tell me this if i was to rebuild a rim using the radial lace what size of spokes would ya use for small flanges and large ones.
