site supporter tags

i know there has been a issue with the site supporter tags, when will we/how will we get our tags back? i thought mine was set up on auto subscription

i know pickle has posted about this in the for sale section saying see the auto subscription link but there is no link i can see and as my site supporter tag isnt showing so i cant reply in the for sale section asking where the link is

kind of, i know where to renew my tag now but i thought mine was on auto renewal and ive not actually seen a post saying its that time of year and we have to renew our tags, just that there has been a mistake made

so my question is

is my yearly tag now expired and i have to renew it? (it used to be on the 31st of may iirc)

I'd say yes as it just says 540 Air under your username, and not Site Supporter.

I seem to remember us all renewing them at April/May last year, then we lost all the info after the site crashed.

ok just a bit confused due to as far as i can see there is no site supporter renewal thread or even a en mass pm saying its that time of year etc... just the one post pickle has put in the for sale section which isn't even a sticky and is heading down the page as we speak

you would normally pay then pm someone to confirm they have received your payment etc...

i dont know if it all has changed since i last did it

may just have to wait for pickle to see this thread and give us the info

Hi ya Kev, last year (and every year before) we would cull everyone's tag on April 1st. You would then have to send £10 to the rad PayPal Addy, pm an admin who would manually add your tag then Gashead would check PayPal to make sure the payment had gone through.

Last year when the site crashed and we started again with new software, we noticed there was an auto subscriptions section. I had a play with it and got it working for new site tags, this allowed people to set it up themselves at any time of the year and it will auto renew 12 months later. This means members get 12 months no matter when they join and get a tag.

The issue was I forgot about all the manual tags that were due to be culled from April, after some discussion and me owning up to the cock up we pulled off a list of all the auto ones and then culled them all yesterday evening, I then sat and manually added all the auto ones again so we were back to how they should be.

I put up threads in the lounge, for sale and BMX chat sections so hopefully people saw what we were doing?

It was my cock up but it was the only way to sort it.
