Planert BMX will mark the box with total cost and postage price. It will also marked as 'Merchandies' as they are legally obliged to do so. You will get hit with the Custom charges and Parcel Force handling fee. The PF fee is £8, standard charge for paying your customs up front and then billing you for it.

A complete bike will generally stand you at around £120 - £150 in charges.

Yup Gnarlyscoots right.  Your mates got to factor in any US cost saving over our sick import system. For instance I got some freestyle landing gear for about £30 but after postage from US, UK bastard customs and Royal Mail took their cut it came to roughly £110. They got v brake pegs on, never seen them here so I had to import.
