NOVEMBER 2014 - BOTM ENTRY THREAD
« on: November 09, 2014, 11:20 AM »
Ok guys, now October's collection of stunning builds has been and gone, with Lee's Redline as the outright winner, let's see what you crazy bike builders have to offer for November.

Remember, 4 pics max, and you can not enter a bike that had been entered before, unless it's got a detailed description of what parts were changed.

Come on, let's see 'em.

Tuff II
Shimano tournys
Tange
dx levers
Shimano pedals

A lot of time went into sourcing parts like most builds.

Mongoose has got my vote this month.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Inspired by a freestyle bike winning last month, here's my latest rider, an oldschool with a bit of midschool and newschool twist - if that's not enough, then I suppose MRD's are race-bred >:D

Please note: this is a rider and is riden every weekend with my kids so therefore has no NOS gear on it :2funny:

MRD Badlander f&f with a few scars
Roling on Prolite Stealth sealed hubs, Sun Big City Lite rims, Odyssey 13T freewheel and Primo Dirt-Monsters
Sugino opc, Shimmy SX's and 35T FMF chainring for decent coping drop-in clearance
O/S Dia-Compe calipers with Odyssey Slick cablers, Odyssey med Monolevers, sticky pads & a bit of a mod to make it really stop
GT Expert bars and an awesome moody Fluff Neck freestyle stem
Renthall cut layback like we used to have in '83 and a Velo aero saddle

Jono, as that's an MX1000 I'm surprised the pads don't completely reach the rim considering where they're positioned...
