Axle size

I have recently sold a wheel on eGay, without the nuts on the axle (the buyer knew this). Now he is whining that he cannot get nuts to fit. Are there any strange sizes on new school axles? I thought there was only one size (14mm). He has been told it is 12mm ????????
Thoughts please.

The two normal sizes are 10mm and 14mm, Skyway used a different thread to pretty much everyone else.

There was some 12mm stuff for a while....  Haro I think....

I think it may be Haro. Can you still get the nuts?

Christ knows..... they have to be around somewhere....  Moore & Large are the distributors for Haro, before them it was Shiner.  Worth a call to them. Other than that, i'm really not sure what you could do - its not a common nut.... :(
