What was better the Silver Streak or Viper? What's the difference? :-\

Silver streak was better, the Viper was smaller and much heavier but i'm sure Sparky will tell you all the differences :daumenhoch:

Viper and Silver Streak shared the same geometry, same size frames but in a nutshell Viper was the cheaper all street budget model although they shared some components. The frame was High Tensile Steel throughout, whereas the Silver Streak was a mixture of Hi-Ten/Cr-Mo, hence the Tri-Moly label (oh and it was fabricated by Koizumi, whereas the Viper frame was Fairly and forks Akisu). :daumenhoch:

Mmm if a remake of the SS or Turbo was to materialise I just know they would mess it up. When I spoke to DB at Interbike they didn't even know who Kashimax was (perhaps since they are not really Diamond Back and just some giant company that owns brand names including DB). Left to them to do this without appropriate input, I can only imagine the components they'd use.
