Hello mate  :welcome

Take a little look in the site supporter thread.  :daumenhoch:
(The one below welcome)

Get yourself a SST its a tenner a year and you'll get full selling/buying access.

If you're free the weekend of 20th August you can always come along to MK, the greatest Old School gathering in the whole wide world.

Anyway, take a good look around, any questions there's many lovely chaps here to help you out.

Get some pics of your build progress posted.

Good luck.  :daumenhoch:

A little bit more info for you.I'm from the Greater Glasgow area.Got my first BMX back in '81 which was the bog standard red Burner.Slowly over time I converted that into a '84 GT Pro Performer.Chrome with orange Tuffs.Stopped riding about '86ish when girls and getting pissed with your mate took over.I sold my GT in about 89.Biggest regret but I never thought that I want or need it again.I've recently been in contact with the guy I sold it too but he doesn't know what happened to it.So it looks like it's been lost to the elements unfortunately and I'll never seen it again. :crybaby: That said I wanted to get back into the scene and look for something similar. So I found myself an '86 chrome Performer that I'm now building.I'll not be building it back to the spec I had my GT bitd, but I'm trying to build it as close to the period as possible. So no orange Tuffs this time and I've sourced some white ones.Gone are the '86 decals which will be replaced with '84-'85 ones.

I got back into biking a few years ago,but it's Mountain Bikes now not BMX.

So looking forward to chatting and dealing with like minded folks here.

Once again. Thanks for the warm welcome and the invite to MK!  ;)
