GT Performer O.G.K. 's restored
« on: May 29, 2016, 11:28 AM »
Yesterday I finished the restoration of my Performer Mags (85's I think) that were found at my parents house. My brother already was about putting them to the bulk garbage, but my mum saved them heroically.

The first picture was taken after I washed off the the first layer of old dirt, mould and oil.
All I needed then was a lot of wet and dry paper (P180, P240, P320, P400, P600, P800 and P1200) a bottle of petrol, acrylic polish, a lot of patience and the good advice from deeman (many thanks Damo  :daumenhoch: - hope you like the outcome as much as I do).

SUNTOUR - T16

Rear finished  :smitten:

With Comp Ramp 20x1.75

Front axle before and after

Front finished...

Cheers - Andy  :coolsmiley:

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

They ride super smooth. I just did a short test ride, to not have to start over again.  ;) Thanks for motivating me doing this job  :daumenhoch:
