A basic-trick advice

Cool.

Yeah, you need a neutral body position - neither forward or back.

You are exactly right, it's a rotation on the front wheel. If you keep everything nice and straight and neutral and try just the first half on a slight downhill it'll create a nice rollback. I do that at Rom at the top of a slope and roll back. Fun.

Brilliant!  :4_17_5:  My goal is to do this trick without rolling forward, otherwise it would be the classic Rockwalk. I've been watching and reading about the good old Rockwalk quite a bit. It's obviosly pretty bad for the rear wheel, as many riders reported killing theirs and I can't afford to damage my 7x-rims. On the other hand, I prefer the version that is shown in the clips. It looks so much cooler in my opinion.
Everthing I've been watching and reading about this, wasn't as precise and helpful as your advices btw!  :daumenhoch:

Thanks again! I very much appreciate your help  :coolsmiley:

You're most welcome.

Yeah, any sideways forces are bad for wheels and unfortunately it's the learning that does the damage.

Looks a bit like what I do?  If your using brakes make sure they work well get decent new school  pads, Eclat force etc.  Try and ride at a slight angle pull front brake, push forwards on the bars have your right foot forwards and cranks horizontal then the kick needs to come from you ankles and knees at the same time time as shifting your weight round.  Good luck.

Nice and smooth Paul  :coolsmiley:
