MK prep
« on: July 31, 2016, 01:36 PM »
How are you all getting on lads, builds done, vans booked?

my bikes have taken a bit of a back seat this year with the zine to do but I may try and put something together in a flurry of last minute swearing and spending.  :crazy2:

what about you lads?
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

I don't think i'm going to have the extra burner done in time for MK  :'(
It might happen, but if it does it will be the day before. Other build is almost done, but have had a few last minute changes to make with the colour scheme. Hopefully the new parts i've ordered will arrive in time. All the music (18 hours of it) for the daytime helipad mix via the Sharp boom box is will be done by the end of today. Tent, gazebo, barbeque and other camping/cooking gear is all ready. Will book the van this week. I also need to get my outfits sorted for day and night time.

You'll need to let me know when you're doing the ale run Andy, so I can send some funds over.  :daumenhoch:

I've got some replacement forks for my Aero Reflex but I'm not sure I'll get the chance to swap them over. I'll be lucky to get the chance to give it a wipe over with our Satan being on his school holidays. Oh I'd best remind (tell) the wife that I'm going. That'd the biggest prep work for me. I'll be the one with at least one black eye if I survive the domestic abuse!

It's all looking touch and go for the Quad and a couple of other builds that need tweaking .. Gonna be "tight tight tight!!!" on my return to Blighty ..
Andy gonna need your help buddy!!! Gutted about your Extra Burner .. I'm sure we can put it together the day before like the Falcon Pro last year?  :-\

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] Built a few, thinking of taking six. Bit worried about leaving them in the van at the hotel on the Friday night. Can you take em into your rooms? Stopping at premier inn, the one in the town.

Gonna be a whole different experience for me this year as I'm staying in a hotel for the first time due to the strife & kids coming along. Normally it is just chuck bikes, tools, parts, sleeping-bag and bottle of vodka in the motor on sat morning and go...... but this time it will be dvd players for the trip, change of clothes (for the kids, obviously not me), wife's hair care products etc etc.... oh, and 4 bikes not the normal one rider i bring for the ramps :2funny:

Jesus i hope i don't forget the vodka....I'm gonna need it after chasing my 5-year old lad round the track all day
Still limping......

My chauffeur has decided he's not coming this year so I've let him have the whole weekend off.

Top guy me.

So because of this, two riders and just my latest and last build. Nothing special though so the other bikes are staying in the loft.
I booked the Holiday inn a long long time back.

My last MK, just hope I make it back from Turkey. I get back on the Thursday night before MK.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.
