Any info / knowledge on Pashley 20mhz
« on: December 09, 2016, 11:20 PM »
Looking for info on the late 90s UK made Pashley 20mhz bmx bikes / frames ... I've just picked up a frame ... number 003 :-)

I know Phil 'Oberonspacefruit' has one ... pics below ... and info / advert or images of the full decal set would be great

I think they made hubs to go with them ... same as the Seventies hubs

Phil's one ...

The Forte frame was called the TV Series I think. There was quite a few riding pics & ad's for those frames in Ride at one time Ed  :daumenhoch:
I would contact Pashley direct, I don't remember the frames having much in the way of decals though?

missed out on a forte the other month on the bay,   there's a  few Pashleys in the donni area ,  a mate had a nice race frame , model name  escapes me , but was bought from the stand at the bike show in Brum , i think the only stickers on it were a headtube sticker and the web addy on the seat stays ,   built with GT bars , GT muscle forks and  full profile kit , shimano brakes  , hutch peds , sunn rims ,   8)      ,     and he wouldn't part with it  :yahoo_silent:    :LolLolLolLol:

I'd say that is a TV series model.

Although 'Willo the Wisp' was the first thing to spring to mind

I thought they were all TV Series Gaz?

The drop outs on mine look different to the one in the pics above.

Kirky found this for me ... the drop outs look like these ... but the gusset isn't like that on the front ... the front looks more like the red one above.

I think like lots of things from back then, There is not one definitive answer. If you read then first line in the magazine article it says 'lots of time spent on prototypes' yours has Pro stamped on it. That could be because it's a Pro sized race frame or because it's a prototype.
Try contacting Pashley they might have some records

I think Sandro had one, there was a lot of digging years ago to get more information about them. Have a word with Sandro.

I'd never seen one for sale ... just heard of them. They I spotted this on the bay and the fact it was British and number 003 swung it :-)

Will get some pics up of the frame shortly  :)
