**the old and new font were (and still are) used on both round and tri grips

Many Thanks Andy! fistblump The thin A'ME logo is new to me. I only know/knew the one that's at the (older) bubble font grips.
Repops have the old bubble font, but two times - at either half of the flange, is that right?

No. those are known as 'double bubbles', they are still eighties . original= bubble font repop= new font :daumenhoch:
