I'm sure they showed that skateboard film as the warm up before Grease in our local cinema.

Ady:

By the turn of the 1980's is was BMX and I came alive. I have no recollection of Skateboarding returning. I guess I was was fully invested in Suzuki TS50ER and girls and parties to have noticed.

Suzuki TS50ER that brings back memories.
I had a red one my two mates had yellow ones..
I fitted a big bore kit and went like fook..
But my one mate had a FS1E and standard would pi$$ all over mine.
I would laugh my head off as each corner he would drag his pedals giving off sparks..
I gave it to my Bro who wrecked it in 6 months and end up in the docks .
I loved that bike..

Was it about someone trying to break the downhill speed record or something like that?

Think that's the film I was thinking of too.... All driving round in a tour bus (SE racing style), got a new set of leathers for the final race of the film ?? Or something like that  :-\

If it's the one i'm thinking of, it was shown on tv in the late 80's one saturday morning
