Good luck I hope someone knows. It would be cool if you could find a copy. 8)

Thanks, I stupidly threw away all my 80s BMX magazines, but you'd have thought I might have kept that one issue! :idiot2:

Good luck finding it - hopefully someone will have it

Yes, BMX became a dirty word in the late eighties, the BMX Action Bike logo got smaller and smaller until it vanished altogether along with any BMX articles. :(

I remember being a kid in the mid to late 70's and it was all Skateboards. We had skateboards, there were skateboard shops and the council built a skateboard park; hell, I even remember going to the cinima to see a skateboard film (I do not know its name and have yet to find it on youtube, it would have been a matinee show and been second feature as we were taken to the cinema by our grandparents on a Saturday).
By the turn of the 1980's is was BMX and I came alive. I have no recollection of Skateboarding returning. I guess I was was fully invested in Suzuki TS50ER and girls and parties to have noticed. It is interesting how time factored compartmentilised things can be.
