Just took the stem off, it is in face a 1" quill.

Can anyone tell me if my crank arm looks bent? The chainring is definitely straight but it doesn't sit straight on the protruding metal bit? Or is it supposed to be like that?? That would explain why the chain goes tight when rotating the crank to 12 o clock!
